Lamborghini has surpassed 10,000 sales in 2023.
The Sant’Agatha firm had a good year in 2023, selling over 10,000 cars worldwide, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous year. This impressive success is the company’s third consecutive record for the Italian luxury car manufacturer. Lamborghini sold 10,112 units in 2023 compared to 9,233 in 2022.
The Urus SUV remained the top-selling model, accounting for nearly two-thirds of the total production in Sant’Agata. With 6,087 units sold worldwide, the Urus maintains its position as the leader. Significant updates, including as a plug-in hybrid, are planned in the coming months, solidifying its iconic status.
2024 marks a major transition for Lamborghini. The V10-powered Hurácan, the second best-selling model in 2023, will be replaced by a new mid-engined car with a hybrid V8. This change will also signal the complete electrification of the Lamborghini range, a significant advancement in the luxury automotive industry.
Only 63 Lamborghinis with V12 engines were delivered in 2023, marking the end of the Aventador. However, the new Revuelto V12 hybrid will take over and enter series production this year. Lamborghini aims to produce hybrid cars in series production until the end of 2026, confirming its growth and innovation ambitions.
In 2023, the most impressive sales performance was recorded in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, totaling 3,987 cars sold in the region. America closely follows with 3,465 units, and the Asia-Pacific region welcomes 2,660 Lamborghini cars.
