Pourtant, dans les bureaux de l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, on a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019aller de l\u2019avant. Le r\u00e9sultat a \u00e9t\u00e9 spectaculaire\u2009; une des plus mauvaises id\u00e9es de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019automobile a re\u00e7u le feu vert.<br \/> Trois roues<br \/> Oui, la Reliant Robin a trois roues, une \u00e0 l\u2019avant et deux \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re. On est cependant loin d\u2019un Can-Am Spyder, cette \u00ab\u2009moto\u2009\u00bb plut\u00f4t amusante \u00e0 conduire et dont l\u2019\u00e9quilibre est l\u2019une des grandes forces. La diff\u00e9rence\u2009? La compagnie Reliant a invers\u00e9 la configuration \u00e0 pr\u00e9coniser avec un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 trois roues, soit mettre la roue unique \u00e0 l\u2019avant plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re.<br \/> Ainsi, lorsqu\u2019on tourne\u2026<br \/> La Robin a vu sa commercialisation s\u2019amorcer en 1973. Incroyablement, elle rempla\u00e7ait la Reliant Regal, tout aussi loufoque. Elle-m\u00eame succ\u00e9dait \u00e0 la Reliant Regent, une moto \u00e0 trois roues \u00e0 laquelle on semblait avoir ajout\u00e9 un abri d\u2019auto.<\/p>\n<p> La Robin \u00e9tait similaire \u00e0 une moto en ce sens qu\u2019elle poss\u00e9dait un moteur de 750\u00a0cm3 (qui fut plus tard port\u00e9 \u00e0 850\u00a0cm3).
