Il y avait 12 \u00e9difices \u00e0 visiter. Mercedes et BMW avaient leur propre hall avec des centaines de voitures de toutes les p\u00e9riodes. Ford fournissait des v\u00e9los pour ceux qui arrivaient assez t\u00f4t pour en r\u00e9server un. Il y avait presque deux kilom\u00e8tres d\u2019un bout \u00e0 l\u2019autre des diff\u00e9rents halls du Salon. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, on r\u00e9coltait des diapositives. On devait se rendre au kiosque une premi\u00e8re fois pour faire une s\u00e9lection des photos convoit\u00e9es et retourner une heure plus tard pour les r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer. Il fallait compter trois jours pour \u00eatre en mesure de tout voir \u00e0 Francfort. Les grands Salons comme D\u00e9troit et Gen\u00e8ve offraient des pr\u00e9sentations spectaculaires. Ces \u00e9v\u00e9nements \u00e9taient des rendez-vous importants. Il n\u2019y a pas eu de Francfort cette ann\u00e9e. Seulement un Salon de la mobilit\u00e9 \u00e0 Munich qui n\u2019a rien \u00e0 voir avec un Salon de l\u2019auto. IL n\u2019y a pas eu de Salon de l\u2019auto de D\u00e9troit. Seulement un \u00e9v\u00e9nement appel\u00e9 Motor Bella qui \u00e9tait plus proche d\u2019un rassemblement d\u2019amateurs de voitures que d\u2019un Salon de l\u2019auto.<br \/> Et Montr\u00e9al dans tout cela<br \/> Techniquement, il doit y avoir un Salon de l\u2019auto \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al du 21 au 30 janvier. Le probl\u00e8me tient au fait que les constructeurs ne sont pas chauds \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e de participer. Les cours des concessionnaires sont vides et vont le rester pour encore un an.
