Il est en effet rare qu\u2019une cr\u00e9ation soit nomm\u00e9e voiture de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, puis de la d\u00e9cennie, mais qu\u2019elle contribue du m\u00eame coup aux probl\u00e8mes financiers de l\u2019entreprise qui lui a donn\u00e9 naissance.<br \/> Anim\u00e9 par un moteur rotatif<br \/> La particularit\u00e9 de la Ro80, c\u2019est qu\u2019elle \u00e9tait anim\u00e9e par un moteur rotatif, comme ceux qui allaient voir le jour chez Mazda. On a souvent tendance \u00e0 penser que la firme japonaise fut la seule \u00e0 proposer des v\u00e9hicules utilisant cette technologie sur le march\u00e9, mais c\u2019est faux.<\/p>\n<p> Le bloc en question se composait de deux rotors Wankel, le tout pour une taille de 995cc. On pourrait comparer sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 celle d\u2019un moteur\u00a02-litres \u00e0 pistons. La puissance de 113,5\u00a0chevaux \u00e9tait impressionnante en regard de la taille de la m\u00e9canique. On disait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque que la voiture roulait vraiment bien\u2026 lorsqu\u2019elle fonctionnait.
