La vieille voiture utilis\u00e9e \u00e9tait en excellente condition sur le plan technique.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Le test \u00e9tait bien simple. La voiture a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e contre une barri\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e0 une vitesse de 60 km\/h, une proc\u00e9dure qui \u00e9tait utilis\u00e9e par les normes Euro NCAP jusqu\u2019en 2020. En gros, le test reproduit une collision frontale \u00e0 chevauchement mod\u00e9r\u00e9 entre les deux v\u00e9hicules.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9sultats parlent d\u2019eux-m\u00eames. Sur la vid\u00e9o, on peut voir la d\u00e9formation de la voiture atteindre la cabine. Un expert du groupe Dekra a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 ainsi les conclusions du test de collision : \u00ab Dans la Golf II, les occupants auraient eu peu de chances de survivre \u00e0 cette collision frontale en raison de l\u2019effondrement de l\u2019habitacle, de la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration profonde des composants du v\u00e9hicule dans l\u2019habitacle, de la d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9ration et de l\u2019impact sur le volant. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Pour la Golf 2019 qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour fins de comparaison, le r\u00e9sultat a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent : \u00ab L\u2019habitacle est rest\u00e9 intact et les occupants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s bien prot\u00e9g\u00e9s par les coussins gonflables frontaux et lat\u00e9raux, combin\u00e9s aux ceintures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, aux syst\u00e8mes de tension des ceintures. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Des tests de freinage ont aussi r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que la vieille Golf avait besoin d\u2019environ 30 % plus de distance pour effectuer un arr\u00eat complet. La stabilit\u00e9 en virage a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9e avec un test de maniabilit\u00e9.
