C\u2019est ainsi que ce duo a r\u00e9invent\u00e9 le <em>dune buggy<\/em> pour le 21e si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n<p>Ses concepteurs n\u2019h\u00e9sitent pas \u00e0 dire, d\u2019ailleurs, que ce v\u00e9hicule est destin\u00e9 \u00e0 des \u00ab\u00a0aventures tout-terrain de luxe\u00a0\u00bb. Pas plus de 100 exemplaires du LFG seront produits et ils seront assortis d\u2019un programme exclusif d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements de conduite organis\u00e9s \u00e0 travers le monde sur une p\u00e9riode de six ans.<\/p>\n<p>Ce programme d\u00e9butera en 2027 avec le LFG\u00a0Baja\u00a0Tour, auquel les 20 premiers acheteurs seront admissibles. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement soulignera le 50e\u00a0anniversaire de la victoire historique obtenue par Meyers\u00a0Manx en octobre 1967, lors de l\u2019\u00e9preuve inaugurale du NORRA Mexican 1000 Rally (devenu aujourd\u2019hui le Baja\u00a01000).<\/p>\n<p>Avec le LFG, <a href=\"https:\/\/annuelauto.ca\/meyers-manx-resorter-nev-bientot-a-un-club-med-pres-de-chez-vous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meyers<\/a> et Tuthill s\u2019adressent \u00e0 une client\u00e8le \u00ab\u00a0qui recherche confort et performances\u00a0\u00bb. L\u2019habitacle sera climatis\u00e9 pour optimiser le confort lors de longs trajets, tandis qu\u2019un GPS int\u00e9gr\u00e9 et un r\u00e9servoir \u00e0 essence volumineux faciliteront les exp\u00e9ditions loin des sentiers battus. De plus, puisque deux minutes suffiront pour d\u00e9couvrir l\u2019habitacle clos et climatis\u00e9, et en retirer les petites porti\u00e8res, ses occupants pourront \u00e0 tout instant profiter d\u2019une brise sur le visage et des chauds rayons du soleil.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Pr\u00eat pour les hauts r\u00e9gimes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\nCe v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 carrosserie en fibre de carbone avec cage de protection anti-tonneau pourra recevoir divers moteurs de haute performance. L\u2019acheteur pourra notamment opter pour une variante \u00e0 4\u00a0soupapes du moteur \u00ab\u00a0K\u00a0\u00bb supercarr\u00e9 de Tuthill. Pour sa Porsche 911K, ce 6-cylindres \u00e0 plat de 3,1\u00a0L produit environ 345\u00a0ch et son r\u00e9gime peut atteindre 11\u00a0000\u00a0tr\/min. Pour le LFG, il aura un \u00e9chappement Inconel. De plus, il sera jumel\u00e9 \u00e0 une bo\u00eete s\u00e9quentielle \u00e0 6\u00a0rapports et \u00e0 une transmission int\u00e9grale avec diff\u00e9rentiels \u00e0 glissement limit\u00e9 avant, central et arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Avec une dotation pareille, on comprend que le LFG sera aux antipodes du <em>dune buggy<\/em> rustique des ann\u00e9es 60-70. La suite de la description technique le confirme puisque des amortisseurs doubles et r\u00e9glables \u00e0 cinq voies avec but\u00e9es hydrauliques et des pneus tout-terrain BF Goodrich sont pr\u00e9vus. Ces \u00e9quipements, dit-on, lui permettront d\u2019affronter les dunes des d\u00e9serts tout autant que les sentiers accident\u00e9s des montagnes.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>LFG, \u00e7a veut dire quoi\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\nLes deux partenaires expliquent que les aptitudes hors route prometteuses du LFG expliquent le choix de son nom.
