Le constructeur allemand, qui planifiait depuis des ann\u00e9es le d\u00e9ploiement de sa nouvelle plateforme Scalable Systems Platform (SSP) d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux V\u00c9, annonce maintenant qu\u2019elle accueillera aussi des moteurs \u00e0 essence&#8230; mais comme prolongateurs d\u2019autonomie. Ce revirement survient alors que VW est en pleine restructuration, avec une ambitieuse feuille de route incluant neuf nouveaux mod\u00e8les dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es. Mais des probl\u00e8mes logiciels, notamment chez Cariad, et une r\u00e9ception plus ti\u00e8de que pr\u00e9vue des V\u00c9 incitent la marque \u00e0 adoucir sa transition.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1308\">Le prolongateur d\u2019autonomie : une bou\u00e9e de secours<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1310\" data-end=\"1680\">VW insiste : la SSP reste une plateforme \u00e9lectrique avant tout. Toutefois, elle sera d\u00e9sormais compatible avec des moteurs thermiques servant uniquement \u00e0 recharger la batterie, sans lien m\u00e9canique avec les roues. Ce principe, d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 par Nissan avec e-Power ou Mazda avec le MX-30 rotatif, vise \u00e0 rassurer les consommateurs r\u00e9ticents \u00e0 la recharge. Le prolongateur d\u2019autonomie n\u2019est pas une simple passerelle : c\u2019est une strat\u00e9gie de transition douce. Elle permettra \u00e0 Volkswagen de proposer des mod\u00e8les \u00e9lectriques sans contrainte de recharge rapide, particuli\u00e8rement sur des march\u00e9s comme la Chine, o\u00f9 l&#8217;int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les V\u00c9 purs fl\u00e9chit et les hybrides rechargeables et V\u00c9 \u00e0 prolongateur gagnent du terrain.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2056\" data-end=\"2104\">Le cas du Golf : l\u2019\u00e9lectrification se pr\u00e9cise<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2520\">Un des mod\u00e8les phares de cette offensive sera la Volkswagen Golf de neuvi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, attendue vers 2029. Ce mod\u00e8le sera 100 % \u00e9lectrique, utilisant la plateforme SSP, et coexistera quelque temps avec la Golf Mk8 actuelle. Bien qu\u2019aucune version \u00e0 prolongateur ne soit confirm\u00e9e pour l\u2019instant, la flexibilit\u00e9 de la plateforme laisse la porte ouverte \u00e0 ce type de motorisation selon les march\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2522\" data-end=\"2545\">L\u2019Europe mise \u00e0 part<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2547\" data-end=\"2943\">Selon le PDG de Volkswagen, Thomas Sch\u00e4fer, l\u2019Europe ne serait pas prioritaire pour les mod\u00e8les \u00e0 prolongateur d\u2019autonomie. Sur ce march\u00e9, les hybrides rechargeables demeurent une solution plus conforme aux politiques environnementales locales.
