Fid\u00e8le \u00e0 sa recette d\u2019origine \u2014 un ch\u00e2ssis en \u00e9chelle, une allure carr\u00e9e, et une vocation double usage \u2014 le nouveau 4Runner modernise l\u2019exp\u00e9rience sans trahir son ADN. Esth\u00e9tiquement, on reste en terrain connu : capot sur\u00e9lev\u00e9 avec bosse d\u00e9corative (plus tape-\u00e0-l\u2019\u0153il qu\u2019utile), calandre imposante, arches de roues muscl\u00e9es et proportions \u00e9quilibr\u00e9es. La version TRD Sport ajoute une touche sportive discr\u00e8te avec des roues au design exclusif et quelques accents visuels, mais le tout demeure sobre \u2014 voire un brin fade pour certains.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"423\" data-end=\"518\">Rustique mais fonctionnel<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1831\">\u00c0 bord, on est accueilli par une ambiance plus utilitaire que luxueuse. Le TRD Sport ne cherche pas \u00e0 en mettre plein la vue : plastiques durs, garnitures noires brillantes et \u00e9crans num\u00e9riques simples composent l\u2019ensemble. L\u2019espace \u00e0 l\u2019avant est g\u00e9n\u00e9reux, avec une position de conduite haute, typique des VUS \u00e0 l\u2019ancienne. \u00c0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re, l\u2019espace pour les jambes demeure moyen malgr\u00e9 l\u2019allongement de l\u2019empattement. Le levier de vitesses m\u00e9canique rappelle les bons vieux jours, tout comme la lunette arri\u00e8re coulissante \u2014 un d\u00e9tail toujours aussi appr\u00e9ci\u00e9. La version SR5 de base est la seule \u00e0 offrir une 3e banquette.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1888\">Technologie : une modernisation en demi-teinte<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1890\" data-end=\"2346\">Le 4Runner TRD Sport 2025 ne d\u00e9borde pas de gadgets. L\u2019\u00e9cran central est de taille modeste, mais lisible et intuitif, loin des \u00e9crans g\u00e9ants qu\u2019on voit chez la concurrence. L\u2019instrumentation num\u00e9rique, quant \u00e0 elle, manque un peu de raffinement dans sa pr\u00e9sentation. Apple CarPlay et Android Auto sont de s\u00e9rie, tout comme la suite Toyota Safety Sense. Les versions haut de gamme proposent plus d\u2019\u00e9quipement, mais ce TRD Sport offre l\u2019essentiel sans exc\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2353\" data-end=\"2403\">Motorisation et innovations : enfin du nouveau<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2405\" data-end=\"2817\">Exit le vieux V6 atmosph\u00e9rique, place \u00e0 un moteur 4 cylindres 2,4 litres turbo plus nerveux avec 278 chevaux, jumel\u00e9 \u00e0 une bo\u00eete automatique \u00e0 8 rapports. R\u00e9sultat : plus de couple \u00e0 bas r\u00e9gime et une consommation de carburant plus raisonnable. La TRD Sport n\u2019offre pas le groupe motopropulseur hybride i-Force Max, r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux versions sup\u00e9rieures, mais ce n\u2019est pas une perte pour ceux qui privil\u00e9gient la simplicit\u00e9 m\u00e9canique. La plateforme TNGA-F partag\u00e9e avec le Land Cruiser et le Tacoma apporte un surcro\u00eet de rigidit\u00e9 et une meilleure conduite. La suspension calibr\u00e9e pour la route reste douce, sans \u00eatre molle, et les pneus \u00e0 biais hors route assurent une bonne adh\u00e9rence sur les chemins de gravelle tout en pr\u00e9servant le confort sur l\u2019asphalte. Notre semaine d&#8217;essai s&#8217;est termin\u00e9 avec une consommation moyenne de 11&#8217;7 L\/100 km ce qui n&#8217;est pas mauvais consid\u00e9rant le format du v\u00e9hicule.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3150\" data-end=\"3191\">Double usage : ville, route, aventure<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3193\" data-end=\"3670\">Le 4Runner TRD Sport n\u2019est pas un grimpeur extr\u00eame comme le TRD Pro, mais il propose assez de capacit\u00e9s hors route pour satisfaire les amateurs de randonn\u00e9es familiales ou de weekends au chalet. Sa garde au sol respectable, sa transmission int\u00e9grale \u00e0 prise temporaire et sa simplicit\u00e9 m\u00e9canique en font un VUS de confiance pour affronter les routes mal entretenues du Qu\u00e9bec. Sur la route, il reste maniable, avec une direction pr\u00e9cise et une suspension bien calibr\u00e9e pour les longues distances. Les versions plus haut de gamme offre un rouage int\u00e9gral permanent et le moteur i-Force Max qui ajoute l&#8217;hybridation avec 326 chevaux et 465 lb-pi de couple.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"3677\" data-end=\"3717\">Conclusion : solide, mais sans \u00e9clat<\/h3>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3719\" data-end=\"4271\">Le Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport 2025 conserve l\u2019essence m\u00eame de ce que recherchent les fid\u00e8les du mod\u00e8le : robustesse, fiabilit\u00e9 et vraie polyvalence. La modernisation du groupe motopropulseur et l\u2019int\u00e9gration \u00e0 la plateforme TNGA-F sont les bienvenues, tout comme l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de l\u2019\u00e9conomie d\u2019essence. Mais on sent aussi un certain compromis dans l\u2019ex\u00e9cution : plastiques bon march\u00e9, pr\u00e9sentation int\u00e9rieure vieillotte, design ext\u00e9rieur timide.
