Selon des informations relay\u00e9es par le site Autocar, la marque britannique, d\u00e9sormais une propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Geely, travaillerait \u00e0 l\u2019int\u00e9gration d\u2019un moteur\u00a0V8 dans sa sportive Emira.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un V6 Toyota qui ne r\u00e9pond plus aux normes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Actuellement, l\u2019Emira est offerte avec deux motorisations\u00a0: un 4-cylindres turbo de 2,0\u00a0litres qui est sign\u00e9 par AMG (406 chevaux) et un V6 suraliment\u00e9 de 3,5\u00a0litres de Toyota, proposant aussi 406\u00a0chevaux, mais le seul \u00e0 offrir une bo\u00eete manuelle.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Le V6, malgr\u00e9 son charme m\u00e9canique et son attrait en Am\u00e9rique du Nord, ne passera pas la prochaine norme antipollution Euro\u00a07. Lotus se retrouve donc dans l\u2019obligation de le remplacer. Et \u00e0 la surprise g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019un V8 a fait surface.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un V8 AMG sous le capot\u2009?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le PDG de Lotus, Feng Qingfeng, a confirm\u00e9 \u00e0 ses investisseurs que l\u2019entreprise \u00ab\u2009\u00e9value actuellement la faisabilit\u00e9 d\u2019un V8\u2009\u00bb pour l\u2019Emira. Et selon Matt Windle, le patron de Lotus Europe, les moteurs d\u2019un fournisseur actuel \u2014 comprendre AMG \u2014 sont \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tude.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>AMG fournit d\u00e9j\u00e0 le 4-cylindres de l\u2019Emira et des V8 (biturbo) \u00e0 Aston Martin.
