Un tournant majeur qui souligne la d\u00e9termination californienne \u00e0 \u00e9lectrifier son parc automobile, malgr\u00e9 les r\u00e9ticences du gouvernement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Une progression spectaculaire du r\u00e9seau de recharge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En 2024, la Californie disposait de 178 549 bornes de recharge, contre une estimation de 120 000 buses de ravitaillement en essence, selon la California Energy Commission. Ce chiffre repr\u00e9sente une augmentation de 70 % par rapport aux 105 012 bornes recens\u00e9es en 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Concernant cette avanc\u00e9e, le gouverneur Gavin Newsom a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 l\u2019engagement de son \u00c9tat en faveur de la transition \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique. \u00ab Nous adoptons notre avenir automobile propre et offrons aux consommateurs plus de choix, peu importe les d\u00e9cisions du \u201cgrand gouvernement\u201d \u00e0 Washington \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le gouverneur d\u00e9mocrate.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<figure><figcaption>L&#8217;expansion du r\u00e9seau de bornes de recharge \u00e0 pris du galon en 2024 | Auto123.com<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Une politique volontariste face aux obstacles f\u00e9d\u00e9raux<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En d\u00e9cembre dernier, la California Energy Commission a approuv\u00e9 un plan d\u2019investissement de 1,4 milliard USD pour d\u00e9velopper l\u2019infrastructure des v\u00e9hicules z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission, incluant les bornes de recharge. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le procureur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019\u00c9tat, Rob Bonta, a rappel\u00e9 en mars aux municipalit\u00e9s leur obligation d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer et de simplifier l\u2019installation de nouvelles bornes.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les 178 000 bornes publiques qui sont op\u00e9rationnelles en Californie, 17 000 sont de type rapide (niveau 3), capables de recharger un v\u00e9hicule en quelques minutes, alors que 162 000 sont des bornes de niveau 2, offrant une recharge plus lente, mais plus accessible.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 ces infrastructures publiques s\u2019ajoutent environ 700 000 bornes domestiques. La Californie b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019une d\u00e9rogation f\u00e9d\u00e9rale lui permettant d\u2019adopter des normes d\u2019\u00e9mission plus strictes que le reste du pays, une situation d\u00e9nonc\u00e9e par certains \u00e9lus plus conservateurs.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019administration Trump a d\u00e9j\u00e0 annonc\u00e9 son intention de r\u00e9voquer ces exemptions, une mesure qui pourrait avoir un impact majeur sur les obligations des constructeurs automobiles.
