Le constructeur bavarois a confirm\u00e9 la production future de deux versions distinctes de ce mod\u00e8le mythique : une enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique et l&#8217;autre fid\u00e8le au moteur \u00e0 essence. Frank van Meel, patron de la division M de BMW, a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 ces d\u00e9tails dans une entrevue exclusive sur le site <em>Bimmer Today<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s avoir annonc\u00e9 en juin dernier qu&#8217;une M3 \u00e9lectrique \u00e9tait en cours de d\u00e9veloppement, van Meel a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que cette version r\u00e9volutionnaire sera dot\u00e9e d&#8217;un groupe motopropulseur impressionnant. Pas moins de quatre moteurs \u00e9lectriques propulseront cette b\u00eate de course, une technologie d\u00e9j\u00e0 test\u00e9e depuis 2022 sur des prototypes d\u00e9riv\u00e9s de la berline i4. Et ce n&#8217;est pas tout : avec une puissance estim\u00e9e \u00e0 1341 chevaux, cette M3 \u00e9lectrique promet de faire exploser les compteurs.<\/p>\n<h3>Le moteur \u00e0 essence : Toujours en course<\/h3>\n<p>\nPour les puristes, la bonne nouvelle est que la M3 \u00e0 essence ne dispara\u00eetra pas. Van Meel a confirm\u00e9 que le l\u00e9gendaire moteur 6 cylindres en ligne biturbo de 3 litres restera au c\u0153ur de cette version pour les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. BMW met actuellement tout en \u0153uvre pour que ce moteur respecte les normes strictes d&#8217;\u00e9missions europ\u00e9ennes tout en continuant d&#8217;offrir une exp\u00e9rience de conduite exaltante. Bien que moins puissante que sa jumelle \u00e9lectrique, la M3 \u00e0 essence compensera par un poids r\u00e9duit, assurant ainsi un plaisir de conduite toujours aussi dynamique.<\/p>\n<h3>Deux plateformes, deux philosophies<\/h3>\n<p>\nLa grande diff\u00e9rence entre ces deux versions de la M3 ne s&#8217;arr\u00eatera pas aux motorisations. La M3 \u00e9lectrique sera construite sur la plateforme Neue Klasse, d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. Cette architecture marque un tournant pour BMW, qui pr\u00e9voit \u00e9galement le lancement d\u2019un X3 \u00e9lectrique en 2025, suivi par une S\u00e9rie 3 \u00e9lectrique, probablement nomm\u00e9e i3, en 2026. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, la M3 \u00e0 essence continuera \u00e0 \u00e9voluer sur une plateforme d\u00e9riv\u00e9e de celle de la M3 actuelle, pour une continuit\u00e9 dans l&#8217;exp\u00e9rience de conduite.<\/p>\n<h3>Une exp\u00e9rience de conduite \u00e9lectrisante<\/h3>\n<p>\nEn mati\u00e8re d&#8217;innovation, BMW envisage d&#8217;\u00e9quiper la M3 \u00e9lectrique d&#8217;un syst\u00e8me de changements de vitesse simul\u00e9s, similaire \u00e0 celui de Hyundai, pour recr\u00e9er les sensations m\u00e9caniques tant appr\u00e9ci\u00e9es des amateurs de conduite sportive. Ce syst\u00e8me permettrait de ressentir des acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations plus visc\u00e9rales, particuli\u00e8rement adapt\u00e9es aux virages serr\u00e9s sur circuit.<\/p>\n<h3>Un futur \u00e9lectrisant et palpitant<\/h3>\n<p>\nL&#8217;arriv\u00e9e de ces deux versions de la M3 promet de red\u00e9finir les codes de la performance automobile.
