La production de cellules de batterie accuse un retard significatif et Volkswagen a mis en place un groupe de travail qui va g\u00e9rer ce probl\u00e8me.<\/p>\n<h3>Des retards inacceptables<\/h3>\n<p>\nSelon la publication allemande Automobilwoche, Volkswagen a mis en place un groupe de travail interne pour g\u00e9rer les probl\u00e8mes de l&#8217;usine de cellules de batterie de Northvolt dans le nord de la Su\u00e8de. L&#8217;objectif est de v\u00e9rifier si la jeune est capable de livrer les batteries et s&#8217;il serait n\u00e9cessaire de r\u00e9organiser en cas d&#8217;urgence. Cependant, Volkswagen n&#8217;a pas encore comment\u00e9 officiellement cette situation. Volkswagen annon\u00e7ait hier un retard de 15 mois dans la livraison de la future Golf EV.<\/p>\n<h3>Impacts potentiels ailleurs dans le monde<\/h3>\n<p>\nLes probl\u00e8mes en Su\u00e8de pourraient \u00e9galement affecter la construction de l&#8217;usine pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 Heide, en Allemagne et celle en Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie, au Qu\u00e9bec. Les sp\u00e9culations vont d&#8217;un report de la construction de l&#8217;usine \u00e0 un retrait complet du projet. Aucune d\u00e9cision finale n&#8217;a encore \u00e9t\u00e9 prise.<\/p>\n<h3>Dissolution du contrat avec BMW<\/h3>\n<p>\nEn juin dernier, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9 que le contrat avec BMW, initialement pr\u00e9vu pour fournir des cellules de batterie d&#8217;une valeur de deux milliards d&#8217;euros, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 dissous. Deux raisons principales ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cit\u00e9es : premi\u00e8rement, la qualit\u00e9 des cellules fournies par Northvolt n&#8217;\u00e9tait &#8220;pas encore conforme aux attentes&#8221;, bien qu&#8217;aucun d\u00e9tail suppl\u00e9mentaire n&#8217;ait \u00e9t\u00e9 fourni. Deuxi\u00e8mement, le calendrier : Northvolt ne poss\u00e8de actuellement qu&#8217;une usine en Su\u00e8de en op\u00e9ration, tandis que toutes les autres, comme celle en Allemagne ou au Canada, sont encore en phase de planification.<\/p>\n<h3>Expansion trop rapide de Northvolt ?<\/h3>\n<p>\nDes questions se posent quant \u00e0 savoir si Northvolt s&#8217;\u00e9tend trop rapidement, incapable de suivre la production et la qualit\u00e9. Peter Carlsson, PDG de Northvolt, a r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 la publication Dagens industri que les plans d&#8217;expansion avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 trop agressifs et devaient \u00eatre r\u00e9vis\u00e9s. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 doit se concentrer sur le c\u0153ur de son activit\u00e9. La production lente \u00e0 Skellefte\u00e5 est un probl\u00e8me cl\u00e9 \u00e0 cet \u00e9gard. L&#8217;impact de cette r\u00e9vision sur les plans de Northvolt reste encore incertain. &#8220;Northvolt \u00e9value actuellement le calendrier de la mont\u00e9e en puissance de la production de ses usines&#8221;, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 un porte-parole de l&#8217;entreprise.<\/p>\n<h3>Les sommes engag\u00e9es au Qu\u00e9bec<\/h3>\n<p>\nPour rappel, Qu\u00e9bec s\u2019est engag\u00e9 \u00e0 subventionner la multinationale su\u00e9doise Northvolt \u00e0 hauteur de 1,37 milliard de dollars (G$). De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, Ottawa a annonc\u00e9 des subventions allant jusqu\u2019\u00e0 1,34G$. Les deux paliers de gouvernement s\u2019engagent \u00e9galement \u00e0 verser jusqu\u2019\u00e0 4,6G$ en subventions \u00e0 la production. Pour l&#8217;usine pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 Heide, en Allemagne, la Commission europ\u00e9enne avait approuv\u00e9 une subvention allemande de 900 millions d&#8217;euros pour la construction de l&#8217;usine de cellules. Reste maintenant \u00e0 savoir ce qui arrivera de tout cet argent en cas de report ou d\u2019annulation du projet.
