Dans une interview accord\u00e9e \u00e0 la publication allemande Welt Am Sonntag, Jean-Michel Billig, responsable des efforts hydrog\u00e8ne chez Stellantis, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la production du camion \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible d\u00e9butera cette ann\u00e9e. Billig a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que les premiers v\u00e9hicules seront fabriqu\u00e9s en Pologne plus tard cette ann\u00e9e, avec un d\u00e9veloppement suivant en Am\u00e9rique du Nord peu apr\u00e8s. &#8220;L&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne sera un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel de la mobilit\u00e9 sans CO2 \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir.<\/p>\n<h3>La pile \u00e0 combustible pourrait remplacer les moteurs V8 et Cummins diesel gourmands<\/h3>\n<p>\nActuellement, le 5500 est vendu en tant que cabine-ch\u00e2ssis et est \u00e9quip\u00e9 en standard d&#8217;un moteur V8 de 6,4 litres. En option, les clients peuvent choisir un turbodiesel Cummins en ligne de 6,7 litres.
