Ford veut maintenant utiliser cette camionnette pour tester la viabilit\u00e9 de la technologie des piles \u00e0 combustible \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne dans le cadre d&#8217;un essai de trois ans.<\/p>\n<p>On veut aussi voir si l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne est viable sur d\u2019autres mod\u00e8les. Ford Pro, la division de l&#8217;Ovale bleu sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les v\u00e9hicules utilitaires, dirigera le projet pilote avec l&#8217;aide de plusieurs experts. Le projet portera sur une petite flotte de camionnettes prototypes au Royaume-Uni. Au total, huit fourgons E-Transit \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible seront utilis\u00e9s pendant des p\u00e9riodes de six mois jusqu&#8217;en 2025, et Ford \u00e9valuera le co\u00fbt de leur exploitation par rapport \u00e0 leurs \u00e9quivalents diesel.<\/p>\n<h3>Un laboratoire pour d\u2019autres projets<\/h3>\n<p>\nCe projet de Ford aidera l&#8217;entreprise \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer comment l&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne pourrait profiter aux clients de l&#8217;E-Transit qui parcourent de longues distances avec de lourdes charges et utilisent des \u00e9quipements auxiliaires tels que des refroidisseurs. Souvent, ces clients n&#8217;ont pas le temps de s&#8217;arr\u00eater pour une s\u00e9ance de recharge, ou les chargeurs rapides ne sont pas aussi largement accessibles qu&#8217;ils le devraient. Ce sont l\u00e0 quelques-uns des probl\u00e8mes potentiels qui pourraient \u00eatre r\u00e9solus par l&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne. Ford a d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9pos\u00e9 un brevet pour un moteur \u00e0 combustion fonctionnant \u00e0 l&#8217;hydrog\u00e8ne, une conception qui pourrait th\u00e9oriquement prolonger la dur\u00e9e de vie des charismatiques V8. Un autre brevet plus r\u00e9cent a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pos\u00e9 par l&#8217;Ovale bleu pour une technologie de pile \u00e0 combustible \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne dans un camion. Il pourrait s&#8217;agir d&#8217;une solution int\u00e9ressante pour construire \u00e0 l&#8217;avenir des camionnettes moins polluantes, tout en conservant les capacit\u00e9s des mod\u00e8les \u00e0 essence.
