La fourgonnette est \u00e9l\u00e9gante, l\u2019habitacle est \u00e9norm\u00e9ment spacieux et logeable et \u00e0 l\u2019avant, la technologie est assez chouette (on pense au syst\u00e8me multim\u00e9dia Uconnect qui s\u2019affiche sur un \u00e9cran tactile de 10 pouces). Surtout, la fourgonnette est anim\u00e9e par un moteur hybride branchable qui promet, quand sa batterie est pleine, 50 kilom\u00e8tres d\u2019autonomie purement \u00e9lectrique. \u00c9videmment, \u00e7a, c\u2019est quand il fait chaud, au-dessus de 5 degr\u00e9s Celsius. Car l\u2019hiver, les piles ont tendance \u00e0 fournir moins d\u2019\u00e9nergie, c\u2019est normal.<\/p>\n<h3>Consommation optimiste<\/h3>\n<p>\nPeu importe, Chrysler annonce une autonomie moyenne qui \u00e0 la fin de l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 2,5 litres aux 100 kilom\u00e8tres. Ce qui, si c\u2019\u00e9tait vrai, serait ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nal pour un v\u00e9hicule qui peut accueillir extr\u00eamement confortablement six, voire sept personnes. Et ajoutons aussi que \u00e7a rendrait pas mal plus acceptable le prix auquel est vendue la Pacifica Hybride, qui co\u00fbte 53 500 $ de base, ou 63 000 $ dans sa version Limited la plus \u00e9quip\u00e9e. Dans les deux cas, les rabais gouvernementaux sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 compris. La Pacifica Hybride Touring a droit \u00e0 10 000\u00a0$ de rabais et la Limited, \u00e0 5000\u00a0$.<\/p>\n<h3>Trop cher<\/h3>\n<p>\n\u00c0 ce prix-l\u00e0, c\u2019est dommage, mais la Pacifica Hybrid ne vaut tout simplement pas la peine. Surtout que la raison pour laquelle Chrysler la vend plus cher est strictement p\u00e9cuniaire. Le constructeur veut mettre dans ses poches le rabais f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de 7500 $ US que les acheteurs aux \u00c9tats-Unis peuvent obtenir du gouvernement am\u00e9ricain en achetant un v\u00e9hicule hybride branchable. En fait, c\u2019est tout le march\u00e9 des fourgonnettes qui ne vaut plus la peine. C\u2019est tout simplement trop cher. Le mod\u00e8le concurrent \u00e0 la Pacifica le plus attrayant est la Toyota Sienna, qui est anim\u00e9e dans toutes ses versions par un moteur hybride, et dont le prix de d\u00e9tail d\u00e9marre \u00e0 45 000 $ mais dont la version la plus recommandable co\u00fbte 52 000 $. Pour en revenir \u00e0 la Pacifica Hybride, ajoutons que c\u2019est un v\u00e9hicule encore moins plaisant \u00e0 conduire l\u2019hiver. La raison est simple\u00a0: on n\u2019a absolument aucun contr\u00f4le sur la fa\u00e7on dont la m\u00e9canique g\u00e8re ses deux moteurs. Peu importe que la batterie soit pleine \u00e0 100\u00a0% ou pas, qu\u2019il fasse 0, -5, -15 ou -25 degr\u00e9s, le moteur \u00e0 essence embarque \u00e0 tous les coups.<\/p>\n<h3>Une pile capricieuse en hiver<\/h3>\n<p>\nR\u00e9sultat : m\u00eame si on n\u2019a \u00e0 parcourir que 10 kilom\u00e8tres et qu\u2019on pourrait tr\u00e8s bien le faire en mode tout \u00e9lectrique, on finit par consommer de l\u2019essence. La consommation moyenne obtenue durant mon essai s\u2019est \u00e9tablie \u00e0 11 litres aux 100 kilom\u00e8tres, ce que j\u2019aurais pu facilement ramener sous les 5 litres aux 100 kilom\u00e8tres si le v\u00e9hicule m\u2019avait laiss\u00e9 le contr\u00f4le sur la gestion de l\u2019\u00e9nergie. Bref, on le sait, l\u2019hiver fait la vie dure aux automobiles. \u00c7a vaut pour les moteurs \u00e0 essence aussi, en passant, mais pour eux, on n\u2019a qu\u2019\u00e0 visiter la station-service plus souvent. Pour les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, on perd de 20 \u00e0 40 % de l\u2019autonomie, selon la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019isolation des batteries. Les v\u00e9hicules les plus perdants l\u2019hiver sont les hybrides branchables qui, comme le Pacifica Hybride, ne permettent pas de circuler en mode strictement \u00e9lectrique. C\u2019est lourd, des batteries. Et \u00e7a para\u00eet dans la consommation du V6 Pentastar de la Pacifica, qui n\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pas particuli\u00e8rement efficace en la mati\u00e8re de fa\u00e7on plus g\u00e9n\u00e9rale.<\/p>\n<h3>Conclusion<\/h3>\n<p>\nAlors, longue histoire courte, si vous voulez faire un bon achat quatre saisons, \u00e9vitez les v\u00e9hicules hybrides branchables qui ne permettent pas de choisir vous-m\u00eames le mode de conduite.
