Les mod\u00e8les qui ont suivis la 240 n\u2019ont pas connu le m\u00eame succ\u00e8s. On les a d\u00e9finies comme \u00e9tant trop lourdes, moins int\u00e9ressantes \u00e0 conduire et sur le plan du style, trop grosses et trop endimanch\u00e9es par rapport au mod\u00e8le de premi\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>La popularit\u00e9 \u00e9tait au rendez-vous<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Le public, lui, a r\u00e9agi autrement. Au cours des deux premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es de commercialisation de la ZX aux \u00c9.-U., plus de 140\u00a0000 mod\u00e8les ont \u00e9t\u00e9 export\u00e9s du Japon pour le march\u00e9 am\u00e9ricain. La 280ZX \u00e9tait propos\u00e9e en version coup\u00e9e ou en version 2+2. \u00a0Le moteur chez nous \u00e9tait un 6 cylindres en ligne de 2,8 litres. Au Japon, un moteur de 2 litres \u00e9tait aussi propos\u00e9. Il y avait de s\u00e9rie une bo\u00eete manuelle \u00e0 5 vitesses et une automatique \u00e0 trois rapports en option. La manuelle \u00e0 5 vitesses est apparue pour les ann\u00e9es 82 et 83 et c\u2019\u00e9tait une transmission Borg-Warner T5, fabriqu\u00e9e aux \u00c9.-U.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>\u00c9tudi\u00e9 en soufflerie<\/strong><\/p>\n<p> Pour la premi\u00e8re fois de son histoire, Nissan a utilis\u00e9 un tunnel en soufflerie pour cr\u00e9er le design le plus a\u00e9rodynamique possible. M\u00eame si elles n\u2019apparaissent pas plus a\u00e9rodynamiques que celles de la 240Z, les lignes de la 280ZX le sont. La 280 ZX est bien s\u00fbr plus grosse que la 240Z, mais pas autant qu\u2019on pourrait le penser.
